Mariánské Lázně is keen to ensure its visitors always enjoy all their time here, which is why concerts, dance parties, exhibitions, theatre perfomances and more are a normal part of daily life here. The town's unique history is an attractive part of its cultural heritage and many of the festivals and events that occur each year are linked to that history. Some of them have their origins going back to the beginning of the 20th century including the annual Chopin Festival. Every year, visitors look forward to the Opening of the Spa Season celebrations, the Cultural Summer of Mariánské Lázně, Jazz Spa, Autumn of Mariánské Lázně and of course the town's youngest annual event the international Marienbad Film Festival.
